I PUC HOSTEL ADMISSION 2027–28

Merit Scholarship-cum-Entrance Test:

Online applications are invited from Class X students seeking admission to I PUC Science and hostel accommodation at Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva Boys’ Hostel, Alike, for the academic year 2027–28.

ENTRANCE TEST – PHASE I

Date: Sunday, 4 October 2026

Time: 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Question Paper Pattern:

The entrance test will consist of 50 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs):

Mathematics – 20 Questions
Science – 30 Questions

Answering Method: OMR answering mode

The entrance test is conducted for admission to the Boys’ Hostel at Alike. A scholarship is available for those who have financial problem also (apart from Merit scholarship) subject to satisfying prescribed criteria (separate application has to be given).

EXAMINATION CENTRES:

Candidates may choose any one of the following examination centres:

Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva Educational Institutions, Alike
Sri Sathya Sai Institution, Dharwad

SCIENCE COMBINATIONS OFFERED:

PCMB – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology
PCMC – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Computer Science

INFORMATION REGARDING PHASE II & PHASE III:

Students who do not qualify in Phase I may appear for Phase II and Phase III Entrance Tests.
Phase II entrance test for PUC hostel admission will be conducted in the last week of December 2026. This will be for science and commerce. Those who don’t qualify may appear for phase III.
Phase III Entrance Test will be conducted in the first week of April 2027.
Phase III Entrance Test will be conducted for admission to the following courses/classes:
- VI CBSE
- VIII CBSE
- VIII State Board – English Medium
- VIII State Board – Kannada Medium
- PUC Science
- PUC Commerce

Points to Note:

- The hostels are being run only for boys.
- There will be an extra 5% weightage for Sri Sathya Sai Balavikasa students and those who have special talents in music, dance, drama, yakshagana etc. You may produce concerned certificates during interview if it is asked for.
- Students need to bring colour printout of the downloaded application form, a copy of Aadhaar, a copy of the latest passport-size photo of the student, and a copy of the SA-1/ Mid-term marks card when they arrive for the entrance test and interview.
- Accommodation will not be provided during the entrance examination for parents or students.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

This entrance examination is conducted for admission to the Boys’ Hostel at Alike.
Girl students who wish to pursue PUC studies in a Sathya Sai Institution may seek admission to Sri Sathya Sai PU College for Women, Dharwad.
